The FlashZilla v3 is a handheld programmer that connects to your vehicles OBDII port and allows you to tune your ECM without removing it from the vehicle. The FlashZilla v3 allows you to upgrade, downgrade or reset your ECM to stock as you wish. Though this tuning method adds a bit of cost, it saves you the hassle and down time associated with removing and shipping out your ECM.

Here's how it works: First we ship you the FlashZilla v3 programmer, you plug it into your cars OBDII port, download your stock ECU ID file, we will then send you the new tuned file for you to upload to your car.

  • Audi A3 2.0L CR TDI (2009 - 2014)
  • VW Beetle 2.0L CR TDI (2012 - 2014)
  • VW Golf 2.0L CR TDI (2009 - 2014)
  • VW Jetta 2.0L CR TDI (2009 - 2014)
  • VW Sportwagen 2.0L CR TDI (2009 - 2014)
  • VW Passat 2.0L CR TDI (2012 - 2014

Dynamic Idle Option:

Speed up engine-warm up with a 1,100 RPM (or another RPM of your choice) idle. The idle will return to stock state (approximately 830RPM) by 70C (158F) coolant temperature. Results may vary.

Stage 0.5:

If you're thinking of upgrading your TDI with a DPF & EGR delete exhaust kit but don't want to spend the extra money on tuning your DSG transmission, this Stage 0.5 tune is your best option. This tune will allow your vehicle to run properly and more efficiently with a Rawtek DPF & EGR Delete kit but will not require you to tune your DSG transmission. The Stage 0.5 tune will keep your torque numbers stock but will add 18 whp.

  • 4 - 6 MPG better fuel economy
  • Increased reliability, lower maintenance costs
  • Does NOT require DSG tuning (if equipped with DSG transmission)

Stage 1:

This tune will allow your vehicle to run properly and more efficiently with a Rawtek DPF & EGR Delete kit while conservatively improving overall performance. Note that this tune will require a DSG transmission tune if equipped.

  • 287LB-FT WTQ (+62LB-FT WTQ over stock)
  • 4 - 6 mpg better fuel economy
  • Increased reliability, lower maintenance costs

Stage 2:

The Stage 2 is by far the most popular tune. The Stage 2 gets the most performance and fuel economy possible out of your TDI without having to upgrade the turbo. This is the best bang for your buck. This tune will allow your vehicle to run properly and more efficiently with a Rawtek DPF & EGR Delete kit while significantly improving overall performance. Note that this tune will require a DSG transmission tune if equipped.

  • 163WHP (+30WHP over stock)
  • 295LB-FT WTQ (+70LB-FT wheel torque over stock)
  • Increased fuel economy, often up to 10+MPG better. 
  • Increased reliability, lower maintenance costs

Stage 3:

The Stage 3 tune is designed to work with the Borg Warner CR170 Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade and a Rawtek DPF & EGR Delete kit. Note that this setup will require a clutch upgrade for manual car or a DSG tune for an automatic transmission.

Stage 3 Requires:

  • Borg Warner CR170 Stage 3 Turbo Upgrade for 2.0L CR TDI
  • An upgraded clutch is highly recommended
  • 183WHP (+50WHP over stock)
  • 310LB-FT WTQ (+85LB-FT WTQ over stock)
  • Increased fuel economy
