The Buggy
The Buggy is a completely custom built dune buggy with
all terrain capabilities such as mud, sand, gravel, brush, hill
climbing, snow, rock and up to 30 inches of fresh water. There’s
almost no place you can’t go with The Buggy, and fast! The 1981
Suzuki GS 1100 engine bored out to 1200cc makes a stunning 130
horsepower and revs to 9000 rpm. With an external gear ratio of
6.9 to 1 The Buggy makes just over 2100 ft*lbs of torque at the
wheels in first gear. Top speed is about 100 km/h and it gets
there in about 3 seconds if you can shift fast enough. The
Buggy rides on four 26 inch ATV tires and is equipped
with independent suspension in the front and rear.
